Our Driving Range Lake

If you come to Stockholms Golfklubb for the first time, you will be met by our “Driving Lake”, a unique and beautiful driving range to warm up on before you play or to work on your swing.
Only members and guests with a tee time are welcome to use our Driving Lake.

Our Driving Lake is totally unique. You stand by the waters edge and hit the balls into Edsviken lake. Our balls float, but they behave like a normal ball.

We marked the boundary of the Driving Lake area with a floating fence, it is prohibited to hit balls over this. The longest area is if you hit diagonally and then most people can hit their drives without hitting over the marked area. We have special “tour mats” for the long hitters.
There are various targets to aim at with distances between 50-225m.

Practice areas

We offer a short-game practice area just below the clubhouse area where putting and chipping can be sharpened. Please avoid pitch and lob shots, this creates both divots and pitchmarks.

At the first tee there is a putting green and a smaller practice green with associated bunker.

You will also find our new practice area located between the tee on hole 10 and the fairway on hole 3 (after the kiosk). The practice area is limited and only available to members of Stockholms Golf club. Here you can practice both wedge shots up to 70m and tough bunker positions. However, we ask you to be understanding and watchful, especially regarding people teeing off from hole 3.
