Visitors to Stockholms Golf Club

We look forward to welcoming you to Kevinge!
To help you feel fully prepared and to make the most of your day with us, we’ve compiled some helpful tips and advice for your visit.

Playing Kevinge – the course of Stockholm Golf Club

Founded in 1904, Stockholm Golf Club is Sweden’s second oldest golf club – rich in tradition and just minutes from the city.
The course offers a unique blend of heritage and modern design, where classic parkland meets contemporary strategic elements.
Every hole brings something new. The layout flows through varied terrain – from open stretches to wooded corridors – with subtle elevation changes that reward thoughtful play.
As our course architect Christian Lundin said entering the course: “Variation is the key.”
and we´d like to think that is a unique trademark.
Also, the views are stunning so please enjoy while teeing up.

Tip for a Good Score
Think placement over power. Fairways can be tight, and greens are well protected – so plan your shots and use the natural features to your advantage.

Please Note
Some holes run close together, so stay alert and respectful of other players and staff.
Safety and awareness are part of good golf.

Greenkeeping

Greenkeeping at Kevinge is quite unique due to the fact that Stockholm has grown bigger and come closer to the course, due to this we have work time restrictions on the course. This makes us stand out from many other courses in the world as we are forced to start later in the day.

As a result, we often have to work amongst playing golfers which places various demands on both us workers and you golfers.

Greenkeepers and other club personnel always have right of way on the course, communication and understanding is essential.

To make it easier for everyone involved, the course is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays until 10:50 plus, Mondays and Wednesdays between 07.00-08:20. and Fridays between  07:00-07:50. This gives our committed, quality conscious and brilliant greenkeepers time to carry out some larger tasks as well as regular mowing without being disturbed or disturbing players.

Fast and enjoyable round – Pace of play

We appreciate Ready Golf – whoever is ready first hits first!

“Your ball should be just behind the ball in front of you, not just in front of the ball behind you”.

A club member or the player with the lowest hcp in the ball is the ball captain and is responsible for the players following the rules and helping to improve slow play.

We are proud our course is played in no more than 4 hours at any time.
The first 9 holes is played in 1 hr 45 minutes.
No one should feel stressed, but it is a par 69 course, where it is never far to the next tee.
On busy days we have a Marshall on the course to show you the way.

Safety is paramount

The golf holes here are very close together. Always shout Fore if you don’t see where the ball is landing.

Choose clubs that will keep you within the course boundries. If you happen hit a ball out of bounds, it must be reported to reception.

Golfers are insured if something happens while playing, but we must also consider our neighbors and passers-by.

Dress-code

For the sake of everyone at Stockholms Golfklubb we apply a policy well-maintained clothing.

Dogs

Please leave your dog at home. Dogs are prohibited both on the course and in the clubhouse.
